Glassing

Glassing takes advantage of a high vantage point that offers seclusion. A hunter may utilize high-powered binoculars or other optical devices that enable him to observe large areas of land and wildlife.

Once wildlife is observed, the stalking strategy may be employed.

“Spot and stalk” hunting is locating game from a distance and stalking it until you're close enough to harvest the animal.
