Safety When Using Blinds

Whether you are using an elevated stand or a ground blind, there are certain measures that must be taken.

• When entering or exiting, always ensure that your firearm is unloaded. If hunting with a bow, your arrows should be encased in a quiver. Your ammunition should be hauled into the stand separately.
• ALWAYS make sure your firearm is pointed in a safe direction. For hauling a firearm into an elevated stand, this direction is down.
