Big Game: Deer

White-tailed deer are some of the most pursued animals in the state.

• They can be hunted with archery, crossbows, modern firearms, and muzzleloaders. Archery/crossbow season runs for five months in the fall and winter with the modern firearm and muzzleloader seasons occurring during the same time.
