You may see something new when you log into your Hunter-Ed Student Dashboard. We've launched Hunter Perks, a new resource with free access to tools, gear discounts, and contests for students!
It's only available to Hunter-Ed students. So, if you haven't yet signed up for a course, you won't want to miss this!
What is Hunter Perks? How can it help beginner hunters or hunters who want to take what they learned through a hunter education course to the next level? Keep reading to find out what you could be missing!
What is Hunter Perks?
Simply put:
Other hunter safety course providers stop at your certification. We don't.
While you can get certified in your state through other hunter safety courses, Hunter-Ed doesn't stop supporting you as a hunter as soon as you get your hunter card. Your hunting journey is just beginning after you learn the safety essentials you need in the field, and we want you to keep learning and building your skills throughout every hunt.

Completing a hunter education course sets you up for success in the field as a new hunter. Through a Hunter-Ed course, you'll learn everything required by your state to hunt safely and ethically.
After completing a course and passing the final exam, you are ready to hit the field. Truthfully, you may not actually need anything more to get out for your first hunt.
However, many hunters still need a little more to have the confidence to get into the field. So, we're giving you "a lot" more anyway!
That's where Hunter Perks come in.
Experienced, long-time hunters will tell you that the learning never ends. Every hunt is different, and every hunt, mentor, or resource is an opportunity to hone your skills and improve your hunting game. The best hunters never stop learning.
Hunter Perks helps set you up for early success and safer hunts, beyond what the states require you to learn through hunter safety courses. And we're not just here to get you started, then leave you to figure out the rest.

How Do I Get Hunter Perks?
It's easy! If you're a student (i.e., have purchased a course), you should see it in your Student Dashboard now.
At the top right corner of your Student Dashboard (next to where you'll print your temporary course certificate), you'll see where you can "Discover Hunter Perks" and "Access Your Perks." Clicking that button takes you to where you'll have everything you need to get the most out of your first (and every) hunt.
You can also get to it using the links on the left side of your screen while in your dashboard.
What If I'm Not a Student?
We hope you'll choose Hunter-Ed to take your state's hunter education course! Sign up and pay for the course, and then you'll have access to Hunter Perks.
Then, as you take your course (and afterwards), you'll have these resources at your fingertips. You never lose access to your Student Dashboard (or Hunter Perks) once you purchase a course.
How Much Does It Cost?
Hunter Perks is free and available after purchasing your course. It doesn't cost you anything more to take advantage of these resources, and you won't find them with any other hunter education course provider.
We like a good deal, and we love helping hunters tag out and return home safely every time. Hunter-Ed and Hunter Perks are set up to help you do just that, and we believe you'll love the perks that come with the course you take with us.
Can I Get Hunter Perks Without Taking a Course?
As much as we'd love to give away these resources through our Hunter Perks program to everyone, we can't.
You must be a Hunter-Ed student to take advantage of these perks.
However, again, your access to your Dashboard and Hunter Perks doesn't end, even after completing your course. You can come back to the tools, videos, blogs, contests, and gear discounts as often as you like.
