When compared to a ewe, a yearling ram (male):

• Has a horn base that is:
  • Wider than a ewe’s horn base and…
  • Wider than his eye.
• Has a larger, more pronounced forehead.
• Has testicles and either a belly spot or a penis.
• Usually stretches his legs to urinate.
