Locating and Signing Up for the Final Hunter Education Class

If you are under 18 years of age, you will need to locate and sign up for the required Final Hunter Education Class after passing the online portion of the Nevada Department of Wildlife hunter education course.

Locate and sign up for the Final Hunter Education Class in your area. If you have any questions about the Final Hunter Education Class requirement, please call 775-688-1500.

Important! Bring a printed copy of your Proof of Home Study, or your completed workbook to the Final Hunter Education Class as proof of having completed the online course.

Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Final Hunter Education Class.

What to Expect at the Final Hunter Education Class

This is 8 hours, depending on the number of students attending and will include:

• A classroom session with firearm handling demonstrations.

Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Nevada-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course. Be sure to have proper clothing for the outdoor sessions.

After attending and passing the Final Hunter Education Class portion of the Hunting education requirement, you will receive your Hunter Education Certificate.
