Know the Law Before Hunting With ATVs

Shooting from vehicles is unsafe, unethical, and in many instances illegal.

  • On WMA (Wildlife Management Area) lands in South Carolina, ATVs must be operated only on designated roads or trails.
  • In many states, it is prohibited to operate an ATV off roads or trails in a manner that damages or disturbs the land, wildlife, or vegetation.
  • In South Carolina, it is illegal to operate any ATV on a public roadway.
