Vandalism
Perhaps you have seen some logging equipment, road signs, or insulators that have been used as targets. Such vandalism is very dangerous, and it gives safe hunters and shooters a bad name. It also costs money. Taxpayers and businesses pay for such equipment, signs, and insulators; and they pay to replace them, too. Each year the Department of Transportation replaces tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of road signs throughout Washington State. Timber companies and the Bonneville Power Administration also spend a lot of money and time repairing or replacing damaged equipment.
Avoid the temptation to use signs as target practice. Such vandalism is very dangerous, and it gives safe hunters and shooters a bad name.
