Course Outline

Typical items in a game care kit include:

  • Large plastic bags for organs you plan to use as meat such as the heart or liver (i.e., gallon Ziploc-type bags)
  • Game bags
  • Cooler and ice
  • Disposable latex gloves
  • Gambrel and pulley system for hanging and skinning back at camp
  • Hand towels
  • Large bag for caped head
  • Plastic bags for trash
  • Salt (non-iodized) for hide care
  • License/Tag (and transportation tag)
  • Small saw
  • Knife and sharpener
