Hunting from an OHV
Do NOT shoot from an OHV. It is illegal in Arizona to discharge a firearm from a motor vehicle.
Use OHVs only to get to the hunting area or to haul an animal from the field. If the area is closed to motorized vehicle traffic you may not use an OHV.
A Challenged Hunter Access Mobility Permit (CHAMP) is available from the Arizona Game and Fish Department for those who have a disability and qualify. (R12-4-217) This will enable CHAMP holders to shoot from a vehicle; however, they are still not permitted to shoot from a road. (ARS§17-301B)
