Hunting With Artificial Light
Here are the Iowa regulations for hunting with artificial light.
- It is illegal to use laser sights, and any other sights that project a beam of light, for hunting in Iowa.
- You may not use a spotlight, headlight, or other artificial light to hunt a bird or animal with a firearm or bow on a highway, in a field, or in a forest.
- You may use an artificial light when hunting raccoons or other furbearing animals only if they are treed with the help of dogs.
