Hunting or Trapping on Public Land
The following public lands are open during statewide hunting seasons unless otherwise indicated:
- TWRA lands that are not a Wildlife Management Area (WMA) or a refuge
- Tennessee State Forests
Before hunting on a federal refuge in Tennessee, contact the specific refuge to check on the hunting seasons, permit requirements, and other regulations. For a list of the federal refuges in Tennessee, refer to the Tennessee Hunting & Trapping Guide or the National Wildlife Refuges information on the TWRA website.
