In addition to having the appropriate license(s), persons hunting with archery equipment also must be aware of the following.

• Archers must follow the regulations for both the special archery season and the regular hunting season.
• Archery equipment and firearms may be used to hunt game during all hunting seasons unless the WGFD regulations state otherwise.
• Archers may possess a firearm while hunting in archery-only areas during a special archery season.
